The Minds Behind the Movement
Behind every Tumbl Trak product is a person who asked a better question. How do children learn to trust their bodies? What does it take to build confidence through movement?
Our innovators share a common belief: the right equipment helps children learn on their own terms. They’re coaches, therapists, and movement experts who designed products based on how bodies actually learn — through feel, through repetition, through safe challenge. Their work bridges athletic training and therapeutic practice, serving children wherever movement matters.

Doug Davis
Doug Davis founded Tumbl Trak in 1988 with a belief that changed an industry: the right equipment helps people learn to move with confidence. After years of experimenting with soft, responsive surfaces, he created the original Tumbl Trak — an open-ended trampoline that revolutionized athletic training and now serves children in therapy settings worldwide. Learn how one coach’s vision became equipment that teaches through feel.

Leonard Isaacs
Leonard Isaacs has studied human movement for over 55 years. As a coach, he pioneered a revolutionary approach: using carefully designed equipment and sequenced challenges to help learners build skills independently, rather than relying on constant hands-on assistance. His creations — the Pit Pillow and the Laser Beam — grew from this philosophy, and both are now trusted tools in occupational and physical therapy. Discover the movement expert behind equipment that builds confidence and independence.

Eileen Richter
Eileen Richter, MPH, OTR/L, FAOTA, has spent over 30 years working with children with sensory-motor differences in schools, hospitals, and private practice. Her deep understanding of how children respond to soft, responsive surfaces led her to create the Boundex Cuddle Box — a unique sensory space now used in clinics and homes around the world. Meet the occupational therapist whose insights shaped one of our most beloved products.
